You’re really trying to get inside the head of your opponent. You’re waiting for them to panic and you’re trying to catch them off guard. You’re really focusing on how they grip the bars, if they’re gaining height, what foot they’re going to attack with. Only you haven’t got time for your brain to think it through. You have to rely on your instinct, which is very hard to do. And all the time your heart is beating out of your chest.
